(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – Police have released the name of the 23 year old Malahide woman who was taken into custody yesterday December 5, 2013 after failing to stop for several police agencies, colliding with a police cruiser and resisting arrest. She has been identified as Stephanie Victoria STOVER, age 23 of Malahide Township, Elgin County. She has been charged with;
Flight from Police section 249.1(1) of the Criminal Code.
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle section 249(1) of the Criminal Code.
Failing to Stop at the Scene of an Collision section 252 of the Criminal Code.
Two (2) counts of Failing to Comply with a Recognizance section 145(3) of the Criminal Code.
Mischief Endangering Life section 430(2) of the Criminal Code.
Assaulting a Peace Officer section 270(1) (a) of the Criminal Code.
STOVER is scheduled to appear in St.Thomas Criminal court today December 6, 2013 for a show cause bail hearing.
