ATV DRIVER ARRESTED

(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) A Lambton Ontario Provincial Police officer (OPP) used his boots to do what an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) couldn’t do: travel without getting stuck. That lead to the arrest of the driver.

Lambton OPP allege that on December 6, 2013 around 1:00 a.m. the driver was seen operating his ATV on Bethel road near Egremont road. When the ATV failed to stop for a stop sign the OPP officer followed the ATV, however the driver went into a heavily wooded area and then became stuck.

After the OPP officer simply walked out to the ATV to continue the investigation, the driver was arrested and charged. Randy SHERK, 29 years of age, from Forest has a Sarnia court date of February 3, 2014 to answer to charges of dangerous driving and three counts of drug possession.
