(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Monday, August 4, 2014 at approximately 9:00 a.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer, operating an OPP cruiser, was travelling northbound on Hwy. 10 south of Concession 2 in the Township of Chatsworth. A northbound Hyundai vehicle proceeded to pass the cruiser as well as another vehicle on a crest of a hill.
The officer stopped the driver of the Hyundai for passing unsafely.
Chandrashekar MANDY, 46, of Scarborough, Ontario was issued Provincial Offence Notices for driving left of centre approaching crest and driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence under the Highway Traffic Act. The vehicle was towed.
