(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On November 10, 2014 at approximately 9:39 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting stationary radar and monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road in the City of Guelph.
At this time and location police observed a north bound motor vehicle travelling at a speed well above the posted speed limit. The 2014 Honda was clocked on radar at 134 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
The driver’s licence was suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Tyler MYLES age 26 of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on January 7, 2015 to answer to the charge.
