(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – While police were still on scene at West Road, Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, a motor vehicle pulled behind the police cruiser and stopped. When police approached the driver to advise that he could move forward, alcohol was detected on the driver’s breath.
Investigation revealed that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired and he was subsequently arrested after failing an Approved Screening Device (roadside breathalyzer).
The driver, Tyler KING, 25, of Simcoe, was charged with care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired, care or control of a motor vehicle while more than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood, and driving a motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor present.
