(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On October 17th, 2014 at 11:26p.m. a concerned citizen observed a pick-up truck in the ditch on Spry Road near Highway 6, Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
Police attended and discovered that James SCOTT, 18, of Northern Bruce Peninsula, had driven the vehicle into the ditch. It was determined that James SCOTT’s ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.
SCOTT was charged with driving while ability impaired, driving while more than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood, and driving while being a novice driver with blood alcohol content above zero.
