(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On October 19th, 2014 at 12:10 a.m. police were patrolling West Road near George Myles Road, Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
At this time police observed a weaving pick-up truck heading southbound on West Road. The vehicle was stopped and it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The driver, Todd THOMPSON, 38, of the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, was arrested and transported to the Bruce Peninsula OPP detachment for further tests.
Todd THOMPSON was charged with driving while ability impaired, driving while more than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood and several other Highway Traffic Act occurrences.
