On July 8, 2014 at 8:06 p.m., the Guelph Police received information that two youths may be in a stolen car in the east end of the city. The vehicle was located in the area of Woodlawn Road and Woolwich Street and a traffic stop was conducted. Investigation discovered that the car had been reported stolen on July 7, 2014. Both male occupants were arrested.
A 16-year-old Guelph male has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. He is also charged with drive motor vehicle – no licence under the Highway Traffic Act. He will appear in court on August 20, 2014.
