(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On February 13, 2014, just after 5:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 40 near the eastbound on ramp to Highway 401.
The collision occurred when a southbound Honda vehicle was stopped on Highway 40 to turn onto the on ramp of Highway 401 eastbound, and was struck from the rear by a Chevrolet vehicle.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 73 year old William HAGAN from Blenheim, ON, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were reported.
