Two Stolen Dogs Recovered – Third Dog Still Missing – Photo Released

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment began an investigation into three dogs that had been stolen between January 15 and January 18 from north of Woodville.

Through an investigation, with the assistance of media and social media, 2 of the 3 dogs have been returned. One dog was located locally and the second dog was located in St. Catharines. One of the dogs is still missing and it is believed that the missing dog may be in the City of Kawartha Lakes or Orillia area. The dog is a female Cane Corso breed, black with brindle feet, cropped ears, and approximately 6 months old. The included photo of the stolen dog is not current; she was approximately 3 months old in the photo.
