(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 2:48pm officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for a single motor vehicle rollover collision on Simcoe Street and Woodville Road.
When the OPP officers arrived on the scene the 2 occupants were being extracted from the vehicle by the Brock Township Fire Department using the Jaws of Life. The road was closed in the area for approximately 1 hour.
The female passenger was transported by ambulance to the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay with minor injuries and the female driver was transported by air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The OPP continue to investigate the collision at this time.
