(WESTPORT,ON) – Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P), arrest two men separately over the weekend for impaired driving.
On the 17th of December 2016, a Leeds County O.P.P. officer responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the village of Westport.
The officer located the suspect vehicle and subsequently arrested the male driver.
Brian Norwood, 53 years old of Westport has been charged with Drive While Disqualified and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code.
He has been held for a bail hearing on 20 December 2016 at Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville.
On the 18th of December 2016 Leeds County O.P.P responded to a call of a black Subaru in the ditch on Hwy #15 in the area of Crosby.
As a result of the investigation, Michael Deyo 18 years old of Elgin, On., has been charged with Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code and Possession of a Schedule II Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.
He was released on a Promise To Appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville Ontario on the 27th of January 2017.
