(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On July 17, 2015 at approximately 11:34 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a vehicle weaving on the roadway travelling eastbound on Simcoe Street in Tillsonburg.
Police located the vehicle and as a result of investigation, the 31-year-old male driver, Christopher SCHRAM of Norfolk County was charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Care or Control While Impaired (Alcohol)
Care or Control Over 80 milligrams
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on August 11, 2015.
(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 18, 2015 at approximately 2:45 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Road 60, west of Ingersoll in Zorra Township.
Police located the vehicle that had struck a speed zone sign as well as a hydro pole on Road 60.
As a result of investigation, police have charged the 58-year-old male driver, Paul FOUNTAIN of Thames Centre under the Criminal Code with the following:
Drive While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle (Alcohol)
Driving with More than 80 milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on August 18, 2015.
Hydro One attended the scene to complete the necessary repair work.
