(Napanee,ON)- On July 17, 2015 at 1:35 p.m. officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision near the intersection of County Road 2 and Palace Road in the Town of Greater Napanee.
The involved vehicle, a gold 2014 Chevrolet Malibu four door, had been travelling eastbound on County Road 2 when it entered the ditch and struck a rock cut. The driver, an 84 year-old male, was transported to hospital and is in serious condition. A female passenger, 79 year-old Madge HARTICK of Bath passed away at hospital.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
