(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the OPP have charged two Kenora youth following the report of a robbery on Monday April 28, 2014. Police were advised that around 1:00 pm a youth was approached in a wooded area near Ninth Street North by two males known to him. One of the males showed a weapon and demanded the victim surrender his personal property.
As a result of this investigation, two 16 year old male youths were arrested in the downtown area on April 28 and have been charged with Robbery contrary to the Criminal Code. One of the youth also faces charges of Uttering Threats contrary to the Criminal Code. They have been held in custody and are to appear in Kenora Court on April 29, 2014 for a bail hearing.
