(ESSA TOWNSHIP)- Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a minor property damage collision on Highway 90 east of Angus at 7:30am, on Wednesday, July 16th, 2014.
During this investigation the OPP utilized a trained Drug Recognition Evaluation Officer which resulted in two male parties being arrested and charged with “Driving a motor vehicle while impaired by drugsâ€Â. Also both males have been charged with Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle.
Charged in this case are 30 yr old William Jawbone and 26 yr old Ryan Gilmour, both of Barrie, ON.
Additionally, Jawbone has been charged with Failing to Comply with his Probation Order, and Possession of a Schedule 1 drug. Gilmour also faces additional charges of Assault Police and Mischief under $5000.00.
Both males are scheduled to appear in Barrie Court, July 17th, 2014.
