(HALIBURTON, ON) – On May 29, 2016 just shortly after 2:00 p.m., the Haliburton Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haliburton County Paramedics and the Minden Hills Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle collision located on Deep Bay Road in the Township of Minden Hills.
The driver of a northbound corvette crossed the center line and left the roadway entering the west ditch, rolled over and came to a rest on private property. The vehicle sustained severe Damage.
The 64 year old male driver from Minden Hills Township and his 29 year old female passenger from East Gwillimbury were both transported by Ornge air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.
The OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
