(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On May 28, 2016 at approximately 2:50 am officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with other emergency services personnel responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 36 in Verulam Township.
The driver, 24 year old Andrew KIRK from the Dunsford area, was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
County Road 36 was closed while the collision was investigated. The OPP’s Technical collision Investigators (TCI) assisted with the investigation.
