(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate an erratic driver on Highway 7 just before 8:00pm.
When officers started following the driver they found the truck to have been stolen the previous day. The vehicle was stopped on Lansdowe Street East and the occupants arrested:
Kyle POTVIN (age 19) of Peterborough, ON
Charged with possession of stolen property over $5000 (in relation to the truck)
Possession of stolen property under $5000
Christopher Harrison RAIMEY (age 19) of no fixed address
Theft of motor vehicle – over $5000
Possession of stolen property – over $5000 (in relation to the truck)
Possession of stolen property – under $5000
17 year old male youth of Peterborough, ON
Theft of motor vehicle – over $5000
Possession of stolen property – over $5000 (in relation to the truck)
Possession of stolen property – under $5000
The suspects will be held in custody pending a bail hearing. All of the accused males will make an appearance in Peterborough Provincial Court later today.
