(AMARANTH, ON) –On July 11, 2015 at 8:25 pm Dufferin OPP dispatched to a Motor vehicle collision with a vehicle in ditch on Dufferin County Road #11 at the 20th side-road in Amaranth Township. Police detected an odour of alcohol on driver’s breath.
The driver provided roadside sample of breath into an approved screening device and registered a fail and arrested for Drive Motor Vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol. The driver was transported to Dufferin OPP Detachment for breath test.
As a result the investigation, Trevor James Miles 26 years of age of Brampton, Ontario was charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor vehicle over 80 mgs contrary to Criminal Code of Canada. His license was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded. He will appear in Orangeville court at a later date to answer to the charges.
