TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On February 2, 2014, just before 1:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a Dodge vehicle on Keil Drive in Chatham.

Subsequent OPP traffic investigation at roadside led to the seizure of a small amount of suspected Fentanyl, Oxycodone and Seroquel. A 20 year old male, Matt SETON, from Chatham, ON, has been charged with the following:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance (x2), under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Driving While Under Suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

Drive Motor Vehicle With Speed Measuring Warning Device, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act

The male is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on March 13, 2014, to answer to the charges.
