(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On January 13, 2014, at approximately 3:05 a.m., officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2004 Nissan on Hill Street East, Fergus for a traffic violation. The officer spoke with the male driver and during the investigation, suspected marihuana was observed.
Shane COTTER age 25 of Fergus has been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-under 3kg. contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 4, 2014 to answer to the charge.
