(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the arrest of an Oshawa man.
On February 16, 2014 an OPP officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 35 near Highway 7A and subsequently stopped the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in a small quantity of marihuana and some drug paraphernalia being seized.
As a result of the investigation Douglas MC CONNELL, 20 years of age, was arrested and charged with possession of marihuana, under 30 grams. The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on March 27, 2014.
