(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On Wednesday July 2, 2014 in the early afternoon hours the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Communications Centre received a call about a vehicle being driven erratically southbound on Highway 35 from the village of Cameron in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
A short time later an OPP officer from the Central Region Highway Safety Division pulled the vehicle over at Highway 35 and Thunderbridge Road. As a result of further investigation the lone female driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams (mgs) of alcohol in 100 millilitres (ml) of blood.
M. Molly TURNBULL, 30 years of age, of Toronto, is charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on August 7, 2014.
