(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called a construction site along Line 32 approximately 1 km west of Mitchell, where tools were discovered stolen from a construction trailer.
It was determined that sometime between 5 p.m. on Tuesday December 15, 2015, and 8 a.m. on Wednesday December 16, 2015, an unknown person entered a locked work trailer belonging to the contractor who was building a barn at the site. A number of power hand tools were stolen from the trailer having an estimated value of $4,000

Contractors are urged to remove their trailers from un-inhabited or un-surveilled construction sites nightly, as they have been the choice of tool thieves in the past number of years.
