On Thursday January 5th, 2017 the Owen Sound Police Service received a complaint from a west side resident that their vehicle had been vandalized overnight. Police attended and found that tires on two vehicles had been slashed and that a vehicle window and a garage window had been smashed. The investigation also revealed that numerous items had been stolen from one of the vehicles.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested a 17 year old Owen Sound male.
Further investigation of the male youth revealed that he had been charged with break and enter in relation to an incident from this past summer. The male youth is now facing the additional charges of mischief, theft and breach of conditions in relation to his release for the break and enter.
