(PENETANGUISHE, ON)- On Tuesday April 5, 2016 just after 2:00pm Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with EMS was notified of an assault that had taken place at Waypoint Mental Health Centre in Penetanguishene.
Investigation found that three staff members had been assaulted, and that a weapon had been used in one of the assaults. The three staff members were taken to a local area hospital where they were treated and released.
Southern Georgian Bay Crime unit is assisting with the investigation. More details to follow when the investigation is concluded.
