THEFTS REPORTED AROUND THE HUNTSVILLE AREA

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police have been taking calls for break in’s that have occurred in and around the Huntsville, Lake of Bays area. This is a good reminder to all home owner and cottagers to lock up their valuables.

On Friday October 24, 2014 Huntsville OPP was made aware of a break in that occurred on Markles Rd in the town of Huntsville. Sometime between September 26, 2014 and October 24, 2014 unknown culprits entered a shed on the property and removed a STIHL 036 chainsaw.

On Sunday October 26, 2014 Huntsville OPP was advised of a break in that occurred on Seventeen Acre Dr.in Lake of Bays Twp. that had occurred in the past few weeks. Once inside unknown culprits removed BB air rifle and alcohol.

On Sunday October 26, 2014 Huntsville OPP unknown culprits entered a cottage on South Moot Lake Rd in Lake of Bays twp. Once inside the culprits made a mess of the owner’s cottage and removed a few knives.

As the winter months creep up on us it is a good time to itemize, make a list and mark down serial numbers of all your valuables.
