(LAKE OF BAYS, ON) On Saturday October 25, 2014 just after midnight Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Lake of Bays Fire and Muskoka EMS attended to a report of a vehicle down an embankment on highway # 60 near Oxtongue Lake.
As a result of the investigation it was found that the female driver of a Ford Fiesta had been drinking. Jessica SCHMIDT (28yrs) of Huntsville was eventually arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on November 19, 2014 to answer to her charges. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days.
