Terry ERCEGOVIC & Douglas TAVENOR – Break And Enter X6

(CALEDON, ON) – Between May 21st and July 15th, the Caledon, Nottawasaga and Wellington Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Halton Regional Police Service investigated numerous break and enters in the area totaling a loss over $10,000.00.

The Caledon Street Crime Unit, through their investigation, was able to identify suspects and a suspect vehicle.

On July 23rd, 2015 members of the Caledon Street Crime Unit accompanied by members of the Property Team Division of the Halton Regional Police Service located the suspects in the possession of break in tools behind a commercial business location.

Two Brampton residents were arrested and charged with the following:

Terry ERCEGOVIC, 31, was arrested and charged with 6 counts of Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Break In Instruments, Disguise with Intent and Fail to Comply with Recognizance Order.

Douglas TAVENOR, 45, was arrested and charged with 6 counts of Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Break In Instruments.

The accused persons were held in custody overnight and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville the following day to answer to their respective charges.
