(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 24, 2015 at approximately 10:50 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were working event security at the Fergus Truck Show in Centre Wellington Township. Officers spoke to an intoxicated male several times about his conduct and eventually arrested him due to his level of intoxication and safety concerns.
The male was searched incident to arrest at which time police located a white powdery substance believed cocaine in his possession.
25-year-old Jacob WEILER of Woolwich Township has been charged with Possession of Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on September 1, 2015 to answer to this charge.
