(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call on June 16, and June 18, 2015 regarding damage to water lines and the theft of valves in Port Mc Nicoll. Temporary water lines have been set up along Fourth Ave between Talbot Street and Hayes Ave in Port Mc Nicoll. The temporary water lines have been cut and valves have been stolen on these two separate dates. The damage is estimated over $5,000.
Police are asking for the public to call 911 or the OPP Communications 1-888-310-1122 if they see anyone suspicious tampering with this equipment.
