(NORWICH, ON.) -The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a trouble with youth call on June 24, 2014.
Through investigation information was received that on June 12, 2014 a male youth was observed on video destroying eggs from a ducks nest that was located near the entrance to the library on Tidey Street in Norwich.
As a result of investigation conducted by police and wildlife authorities a 16 year old male of Norwich Township has been charged under the Migratory Birds Convention Act with:
Unlawfully destroying a migratory bird’s egg.
