(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Thursday August 20, 2015 just after 7:30pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the town of Huntsville, observed an S10 pickup truck driving erratically.
The pickup truck was eventually stopped at Centre St and Main St in the town of Huntsville. The driver Taylor Jay DIXON (23yrs) of Huntsville was found to have been drinking. As a result he was eventually arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with More Than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on September 9, 2015 to answer to his charges.
The accused faces several Provincial Offences charges including Failing to Surrender a Driver’s licence, Failing to Surrender Permit for Motor Vehicle, Driving a Motor Vehicle no Validation on the Plate, Careless Driving and Failing to Surrender a Valid Insurance Slip.
The accused had his vehicle towed an impounded for 7 days and received a 90 day licence suspension.
