(SUDBURY, ON)- On November 7, 2016, members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Highway 17, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the female driver was under suspension and that the vehicle she was operating had no insurance.
Tammy Lee MIRON, 42 years of age, from Valley East, was charged with the following:
Driving while under suspension, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance, contrary to section 2(1)(a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
Drive motor vehicle, no validation on plate, contrary to section 7(1)(c)(i) of the Highway Traffic Act
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on December 19, 2016.
