(CARRICK TWP, ON) – On April 8th, 2011 at 4:00 pm, an OPP West Region Highway Safety officer was on patrol along County Road 3 in Carrick Township when a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. Radar displayed the speed of the vehicle to be 119 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone. 36 year old Tamara LAMONT of Hanover has been charged with Race a motor vehicle. She is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on May 17th, 2011 to answer to the charge.
