(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Saturday April 09, 2011 shortly before the noon hour, Perth County OPP officers were called to a rural residence on Road 182 south of St.Columban where a break-in had just occurred.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. unknown persons forced open the rear door of the brick bungalow. The home was rummaged through and the following items were removed, a Dell lap top, a digital camera, a gold Safire ring with two diamonds, a white gold necklace with a heart cross & anchor. Some hand tools, a Honda 2400 generator and a King Canada 6500 generator were taken from the garage.
A suspicious vehicle was observed leaving the scene in a south bound direction on Road 182. It was described as a white coloured Dodge 4X4 four door pickup truck, possibly a 2003 make. It had a silver lower panel above the step up into the truck and it had tinted windows.
