(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 16, 2015 at approximately 11:40 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a 2010 Ford sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was struck by a west bound Canadian Pacific train on Concession 7, south of Concession 1, Puslinch Township. Officers responded along with Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services, and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services.
A 42-year-old female was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The road was closed for a short period and the train continued on.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
