(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a suspicious trailer fire that occurred early this morning in Seaforth. Around 6:30 a.m. Seaforth Fire Department and Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended to a fire located at a commercial property on Jarvis Street North.
The trailer portion of a tractor trailer unit was completely destroyed by fire. The full size storage trailer contained used furniture and appliances.
At this point the dollar value of the damages to the trailer and contents is unknown however it is not believed to be significant.
The cause of the fire is unknown however it is believed to be suspicious.
