(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 35-year-old male after police investigated an incident at a Windham Road 12, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, November 1, 2015 at approximately 12:07 p.m., police received a call from a concerned resident after observing a firearm being discharged from a vehicle that was located on the roadway.
Police attended the area and located the vehicle and occupant.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 35-year-old David William HUNTER of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.
Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm X2
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order X2
Driving while under suspension X2
Possession of Cocaine
Use plate not authorized for vehicle
Use validation not furnished for vehicle
Drive motor vehicle-no currently validated permit
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
