(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Saturday, September 27, 2014, at approximately 11:38 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2002 Chevrolet motor vehicle on Southgate Sideroad 71 in the Township of Southgate.
Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was under suspension. The registered owner of the vehicle was seated in the passenger seat and it was determined that the vehicle was not insured.
Philip Shawn CONNELL, 42, of Guelph, Ontario was issued a summons for driving while under suspension and fail to display two plates under the Highway Traffic Act.
Stacey COLLINS, 33, of the Township of West Grey, was issued a summons for permitting a motor vehicle to be operated without insurance under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
They are scheduled to appear in Court in Owen Sound on November 10, 2014.
