(HOWICK, ON) – An early morning traffic stop on June 16, 2013 has led to two charges for a 40 year old female from Howick Township. At 1:47 a.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo travelling eastbound on Martin Street in Gorrie. The patrol officer had knowledge the driver was suspended. A traffic stop was initiated and a driver’s licence check was completed which confirmed the driver was currently suspended and also prohibited from driving from a previous criminal code driving charge.
As a result, Susan POLILLO, 40, from Howick has been charged with Drive Disqualified and Driving While Under Suspension. She has a court date scheduled for August 22, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham. Her motor vehicle has been impounded for 45 days.
