On June 8, 2015 at 11:25 a.m., the Guelph Police went to William Street for a reported hit and run. The responsible vehicle struck a parked pickup truck and then left the scene with front passenger side damage that included the loss of its tire. The vehicle was located abandoned on Delmar Boulevard by Victoria Road. Police investigation led to the arrest of the female driver shortly after.
Susan Jeffrey, 36 years of Guelph has been charged with dangerous driving and fail to remain. She will appear in court on July 21, 2015.
