On June 8, 2015 at 12:51 p.m., the Guelph Police investigated a reported robbery. It is alleged that the male victim was at an apartment on Wyndham Street with two males that were known to him. The two males used force to rob the victim of his belongings and then removed him from the apartment. The victim reported this to police who located the males and the belongings at the apartment and they were both arrested.
A 20-year-old Guelph man is charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, utter death threats, overcoming resistance to commit offence, breach recognizance and two counts of breach of probation. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on June 9, 2015.
