The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 110 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Two people were arrested and both have been held pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK15016664
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On February 8, 2015 the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions was to reside on Timmins Crescent in Chatham and to notify police within 24 hours of any change in address.
On June 4, 2015 officers learned that the man had left the residence in April and failed to notify police. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, the man attended police headquarters to change his address and he was taken into custody. The 41-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Bothwell CK15016636
The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Bothwell.
Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a business on Main Street. A laptop and cash were stolen.

The Chatham-Kent police are asking the public for assistance regarding a break and enter in Chatham.
Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a shed on Van Allen Avenue. Various tools valued at approximately $1000 were stolen.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK15016644
Around 10:45 a.m. yesterday morning, emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on Grand Avenue East near Michener Avenue in Chatham. Damage was estimated at $8000.
A 60-year-old Chatham woman was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance as a precaution.
A 71-year-old Chatham man was charged with failing to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid a collision while making a left turn.
