(Madoc, ON) – On August 2, 2014 at 1:50 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway #7 near St. Lawrence St W in Madoc Township. The vehicle was travelling 142 kilometres per hour in a posted 80 kilometre zone. As a result 26 year old Zheyuan LI of Toronto, ON was charged with Operate a Motor Vehicle While Performing a Stunt -Speeding contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence was seized and his vehicle was impounded both for a period of seven days.
In addition on August 2, 2014 at 8:50 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway #7 near Jarvis Road in Madoc Township. The vehicle was travelling 132 kilometres per hour in a posted 80 kilometre zone. As a result 42 year old Michal DUGOVIC of London, ON was charged with Operate a Motor Vehicle While Performing a Stunt -Speeding contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence was seized and his vehicle was impounded both for a period of seven days.
