(CARLETON PLACE, ON) -The Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in partnership with the Lanark County Food Bank is hosting the “Stuff the Cruiser†food drive event. On Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10am-2pm the Lanark County Food Bank and members of the Lanark County OPP Auxiliary Unit will be set up at Steve’s Independent Grocer at 455 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place to accept food donations to fill up a marked OPP cruiser.
There is a continued need for assistance within the community to stock the cupboards of those in need. The Lanark County OPP and its Auxiliary members and the Lanark County Food Bank encourage everyone to participate so those in need do not have to go without. We hope to see you there!
