On December 8, 2012 between 9:00am and 4:00pm members of the Guelph Fire Department, Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services and Guelph Police Service will team up with Zehrs and volunteers from the Guelph Food Bank to collect food donations at the Zehrs Store at Imperial and Paisley Road. We hope to fill our emergency vehicles with food donations for the Guelph Food Bank. Last year, the Guelph Food Bank distributed over 1,075,000 lbs. to those in need in the Guelph area.
This drive is also a part of the 2012 Loblaw’s National Food drive at Guelph Zehrs and No Frills stores, which run between November 23, 2012 and December 13, 2012.
Please come out to the Imperial Road Zehrs Store and support Guelph emergency services and the Guelph Food Bank in our effort to provide food security to those facing economic hardships.
