(North Stormont) – On May 27, 2016 at approximately 8:15pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on Highway 138, North Stormont Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The male driver, Bernard LAROSE (72) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on July 5, 2016.
THEFTS
(North Dundas) – On May 27, 2016 at approximately 3:15pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residence on Victoria Street, North Dundas Township (Winchester). Investigation revealed that a garage had been forcibly entered and assorted Dewalt tools were taken.
An investigation continues.
(North Glengarry) – Overnight (May 28-29, 2016) an enclosed trailer was taken from a property on Dornie Road, North Glengarry Township. It is described as follows; 2014 “Legend” 15’ v-nose enclosed trailer, dark grey, Model 715, 2 axles.
