YOUTH CHARGED WITH MISCHIEF

(North Stormont) – On May 12, 2015 at approximately 12:16pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a family dispute at a residence on Highway 138, North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation resulted in a female youth causing damage within the home.

The 16-year-old female was arrested and is charged with;

– Mischief Under $5000

She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 4, 2015. Her name is being withheld as per guidelines of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

BREAK-IN

(North Dundas) – On May 13, 2015 at approximately 2:26am, SD&G OPP officers, assisted by OPP Canine responded to a report of a break-in in progress at a business property on County Road 1, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that a male had entered a building and was observed running from the area towards the Hallville Community Centre. Nothing was taken.

The suspect is described as; male, husky build dark hair wearing a blue long sleeve shirt.

An investigation continues.
